Here is an annual calendar with the most important highlights:

• 1. January: Free open-air event and fireworks
• 2. January: Harderpotschete
• June: Greenfield
• June: Country and Trucker Festival
• 1. August: National Holiday
• September: Various cheese tastings (Chästeilet) on the surrounding alpine pastures
• 30. December (or earlier if that falls on a weekend): Ubersitz in Meiringen
• 31. December: Nothing! Instead on 1 January.
